Opening up Captured

Righto, so we had no friggen' clue where to post this so, hey, off-topic even though it ain't really off-topic. Don't refute our logic, there isn't anywhere this really fits. I blame the government.

So, anyway, making this so I can let you guys know that we're opening up good ol' Captured, the RP Jum, Beo and I started in the Sabaku Desert section, wherein violent hijinks ensued upon the raider population. And other stuff, like a plot obsessed villain and various blood gore and skull bits flying around. Fun for the whole family

This is really just for the sake of keeping this forum more active, and actually getting some roleplays going.

If anyone is interested, then let me know and I'll write up a quick synopsis of everything that has happened so far.

So here's a quick Synopsis of what has gone down in Captured.

Our story began as simple as any other, a group of three waste-landers found themselves commuting from one town to another found themselves ambushed. The group consisted of Melodee, a very insane teenage girl, who enjoyed killing as good as any extremely inbred raider out there, a well-done steak named Maria, who had the ability to regenerate, albeit slowly, and the last member, the most important one named Karl Shanks, a badass cowboy who was also a mite insane, like his companion Mel.

Anyway, the group was ambushed by a pack of raiders looking to earn themselves some slaves. The three companions decided to go with them, there was no way they could fight off fourty raiders while standing in the middle of the road. There, they met a fiendish man, who was quite suave and charismatic, but a devil on the inside. After he took his leave, they decided to make their break.

Blood, gore, and violence a plenty, with some idiotic fiends firing a rocket launcher, Karl heading the pack while Maria took up sharp shooting, and Melodee smashed heads in with her axe. In the end, they killed plenty of raiders, but suffered heavy wounds.

Hey guys, Delta here.

Due to a recent bump in re-activity, spirits have been rather high. At the same time, however, so have the skeptics of some- Hell, maybe all of us. I'm not gonna lie and say that building this place back up is gonna be easy, but that doesn't mean it's gotta be hard, y'know?

We all had fun, be it posting some badass fight scenes, or dickin' around in the Chatbox or any number of the miscellaneous threads.

And I'd like for it to be that way again, because I missed all of ya.

HEY SLACKERS, (including us admins)

I don't know if this is a good idea, but I figured we could set a date and time to get online and chat and think of ideas for the forum, together.
So, I hope you all decide to check the forum before the certain date/time I choose.

I think Iris and I have a telepathic connection together. She gets back on the forum, and seven days later I have the urge to check out the forum. That can't be a coincidence. There's some syfy shit going on there.
Just as soon as I thought every piece of my life had been put into place, BAM someone came along and set all the pieces on fire. And then put it out. And set fire on it again.

Im so busy with cheer, its insane. I have practice every monday and wednesday, and games Thursdays and we sometimes cheer at varsity games on Fridays.
Plus, my cables been out for at least a month, and with the new ios7 update, my phone
wont log into my itunes account and safari wont work.
Im actually on some random persons phone right now that I found at the pool...
at 1:02 in the morning.

Well,it wasn't my idea, not sure who's it was, but I want to inform everyone that it's SETTLED.
Thanks to Daenerys, she has put together an appropriate logo for both the Warui and Survivors.
The logos are shown on every page, in the right corner, as if it wasn't already obvious.
The Warui's logo is a phoenix, and I was thinking that on the soldiers, it could be in a badge type form, like that of police badges that they hold up in shows or movies, but instead of holding it up, it'd be on a sleeve of the Warui soldiers uniforms and such.
Same for the Survivors, but instead of on uniforms, it'd be on flags and tents and crates and such. The logo is an eye with a nuclear symbol in the center. …

****UPDATE On the Currency Issue****

There was a bit of debate on what "currency" our forum shall have... Some argued for a set currency, while other argued for trading. Therefore, we have reached a compromise: a mixture of both. A member said---"Come to think of it, I don't know why any of us think the world will run off of one methods of buying/selling/obtaining." Which is completely true. The whole world is in ruins, and shit is falling apart. Therefore, bottlecaps are the "unofficial currency", while many people use trading because it is more convenient for them.
